A good mentor and wise selection of courses with a good school, followed by diligent learning, would get you a head start in your career. However, you must check your suitability for this field. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in UI Design, Graphic Design, Storyboarding, Animation Design, Game Design, 3D Modelling, Texturing and Lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. So going for a generic course covering all or most of these would be the best way to get started in these careers. Please remember MBA degree is offered by universities, whereas PGDM is offered by AICTE approved institutes.
Both these course have almost the same course curriculum, Both are good but in PGDM there is very advance syllabus that's why IIM also give PGDM degree .
However please remember while taking admission, your emphasis should be more on taking admission in good universities or institutes.
You may consider some of the below mentioned points while selecting a institute or university to pursue MBA or PGDM program:
- Accreditation of the institute.
- Institute's infrastructure.
- Teaching faculty.
- Specialization offered.
- Past placements records.
- Tuition fees.
- City preference.
- Industry interface.
In order to pursue full time MBA or PGDM program you need to be graduate in any field with atleast 50% marks in graduation, plus you need to take various management entrance test like CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, etc.
Please note that, the final selection in MBA or PGDM program is made on the basis of:
1. Education background of the students.
2. Score in various management entrance test.
3. Performance in group discussions and personal interview.
4. Work experience if any.
