Class 12th marks do have a little role in clearing the cutoff marks of certain colleges. But if you clear the entrance exams of any college, it will not impact that much in the admission process. But giving you a clear answer it does have certain consequences.

GATE conducts English Literature exam as part of the Humanities and Social Sciences. The GATE score is very useful for English graduates who have completed a Bachelor's degree in this subject. Career options after qualifying for the GATE exams are:

GATE open many doors for you like in ISRO, State University, corporate sector. And Ph.D. is always available for you. There are many jobs which have minimum eligibility as GATE qualification.

Hello Parthiv, B.Tech in itself is such an extensive course that every branch has its own areas of specializations and career prospects. The same depends on ypur area of interest. Since I am an alumnus of LPU I can share the details of what branches are offered at LPU:-
CSE, EEE, ME, IT, EE, ECE, CHE and many more. Further CSE has its own specializations like machine learning, robotics, game design etc. Placements if I talk abput are one of the best in industry when it comes to LPU. I passed my MBA in 2019 and working in a reputed form with good package. So decide as per your area of interest and proceed. All the best.

Hi Suyash, You have immense no of options after Commerce+ computers since you are now open to both commerce and IT fields
Depending upon your area of interest you may either process for BCA B.Sc. (in various streams), B.Com (Hons) Computer Science (various streams like gaming robotics etc. ). We have manu colleges/universities offering these programmes. Would list a few for you:-

3- Lovely Professional University, Phagwara

You can pursue B.J. M. C. after the 12th and after graduation from any stream, you can choose M.J. M. C. or a related Diploma in broadcast journalism. Search for the mass communication and journalism college in India or nearby your city. Get information about admission and apply for it. There are many colleges in India like Bennett, NIMCJ, MICA, Seamedu etc.
