If your game concepts and years of diligent work pay off, it has a promising future. A sneak preview of things to come. Even the most seasoned among us find it difficult to predict events more than six months in advance. The same holds true for a game designer's or developer's future. The most important requirement for those of you who want to pursue a career in game design is to love playing and making games. You must enjoy doing it when you have free time. Summing-up: I'd suggest trying out the Unity engine if you're just getting started.
