Apologies for Delay in reply. You need about 65-70 average score to get a call from SPM, once you apply for the college. Getting through for admissions will depend upon your aggregate of GD, PI and CAT score.

well you can apply for the course and clear the case analysis and pi round overall performance would be measured that is your cat score+case.analysis + personal interview and selection would be done on overall score so perform well in all rounds and you'll have wise chances of getting selected. You can, but you will have to perform extraordinarily in the CAT. You will need to score more than 99.8 percentile in CAT to get calls from old IIMs.

No need of approaching cat exam u can go through SRMCAT its evaluated from 600 group and 75% should be d percent required fr the overall performance and without failing d subjects ,frm d starting min75./.+is required tq

Cut off for CAT 2015 was 80 for general candidates. The final selection of the candidates depends mainly on the GD/PI process. Therefore we suggest and encourage students to apply and perform well in GD/PI process. As you hve done B.Tech and your percentile is above 80, you can definitely apply for the course. The placements of 2015 batch went well with average package being 9.75 lpa.
