You are eligible to write CAT only in the final year of your Bachelor's or after completion as the score is valid only for a year unlike international exams like SAT, GMAT etc.

There is no direct answer to this question. However, assuming that you want to join established IIMs, there are around 2400-2500 seats for all the IIMs combined. Also assuming that around 2.5 lakh students appear for CAT. You would stand a chance to figure in top 2500 students only if you score more than 99 percentile. This has also been empirically observed. Typical cutoff for IIMA, IIMB and IIMC goes as high as 99.25 percentile to 99.5 percentile. For IIML, IIMI and IIMK, cutoff usually is 98.5 percentile to 99 percentile. Hence I would suggest that you prepare well and give your best shot at CAT.

As per last year, all India quota cutoff is 99.2 percentile. All the exams except MBA CET comes under all India quota.
I hope this answers your question.

NICMAR accepts students via its own exam, NCAT. The CAT score is not used as a deciding factor. Having a CAT score above 75 percentile gives you an edge in the interview . Good luck.

There is no fixed answer for this as there are a lot of factors that determine your chances of getting into IIMA. IIMA usually prepares composite score which assigns different weights to your 10th, 12th and UG marks and also CAT Percentile. With 65% and 71% you are seriously disadvantaged in 10th and 12th, hence you will have to make sure that you get really good CAT percentile. If I have to guess, I would tell you to score more than 99.8 percentile. SO prepare really well and give your best shot at CAT.
