Are you appearing for CAT again in 2016? Because with the score what you have got in 2015 it's pretty much difficult to get into a premium B-School. Your work ex is not a mandatory for admission.

Not at all if you take it seriously. One of my friend got 70% in 10th and 81% in 12th and he cracked CAT with 99.6 percentile with coaching. You have to plan accordingly and stick to it until you get to it. Hope it helps.

CAT is the entrance examination accepted by IIMs and many other premier B Schools. MAT is recommended by AIMA and is common entrance for MBA.

Although there hasn't been an official confirmation on this, but following the previous year trends, CAT'16 is most likely to be held in the month of November'16.
So, that gives you roughly 9 months for preparation, if you are going to write CAT'16. For a month-wise preparation methodology for CAT'16.
