as per your CAT score you should try apply in colleges who accept that score.check online the cut off and accordingly apply and start giving interviews.

For Mba, You need to be an Graduate First. And If you ask about preparation then i would suggest if your goal is clear than you have to go for MBA then Start preparing . as you have a long go for CAT. and Concrete On Graduation also.
