Apologise for the late reply.
It's very difficult to answer this the reason being, your aptitude may differ and hence the need for preparation too. I used Arun Sharma and Notes/booklets from one of the Cat preparation institutes. What matters the most is your hands on the online tests and practice.

Last year a person with percentile 99.2 secured almost the last seat in FMS. Moreover, last year the overall percentile used to be considered, so it was a bit easier to answer this question. However, from this year sectional cutoffs have also been included along with 3% for gender diversity. It is really tough to tell a percentile that can guarantee you admission. Cutoffs vary every year and so does the process.

Apologise for the late reply. You need to be thorough with the basics of what you have covered in quant as you know the difficulty level differs depending upon the exam you attend. Yes, you can apply for MBA in SRM, you just have to apply for SRMCAT, the last date is MAR 16.

The minimum cut off for cat still stands around 90%ile. your performance might not qualify after assessment. Also, If you haven't received the letter yet then you are not selected for the process ahead.

CAT cut off last year was 73 percentile and will be around the same this year too. Chance is less

You have a very low CAT score. On the basis of your CAT score, you will not be able to get a good college. My suggestion would be to prepare well for other management exams. All the best.

98.54 was the cutoff for the CAT exam held in 2014 for admission to the 2015-17 batch. For the CAT exam conducted in 2015 for the 2016-18 batch, the cutoff has not been released yet. The shortlist along with the cutoff will be out soon. All the best.
