Yes, it's based on reservation category. I think, for SC and ST, its 90-95, I think so.

For applying in IIM, CAT score matters the most and after clearing the entrance test, you have to prepare well for the personal interview & GD to get admission.

If you have missed the CAT/MAT Examination, then you will also get admission in MBA Course, because many university will conducts his own Entrance examination to get selected students in MBA. So, you have to apply for the best University to get admission in MBA course. It is different for different colleges but yes, CAT is the only entrance exam that is accepted in all MBA colleges. Hence, it is quite necessary to score a good percentile in CAT because you will have an added advantage. But apart from CAT, you have XAT, CMAT, MAT, etc. You can score in them too but these are not accepted by all colleges.

First thing, it is very difficult to get admission in any MBA college without any entrance test, and second thing is your graduation percentage is also very low. Most of the MBA colleges have eligibility criteria of minimum 50% marks in graduation.
