Hi,
No, clearing the minimum criteria doesn't guarantee a call. It depends on one's overall profile, 10th, 12th marks, work experience, etc.

Hi, If you are targeting top 20-30, then you must write CAT. Alternatively, you may focus on IIFT SNAP (for Symbiosis), NMAT. NMAT- NMIMS
MHT- CET- for MBA colleges in Maharashtra
SNAP- Symbiosis college
XAT- for XLRI
IIFT - for IIFT D AND IIFT Kolkata
CMAT- Many colleges accept CMAT Score.

Hello,
You are having good score in your education. IIMs consider 5 to 10% weightage from your previous education score so you need to prepare well for CAT exam to get IIM. According to last cut-off, you need to score above 90.

Hello! Getting direct admission into any IIM (or any reputed B-school for that matter), for its full-time MBA programme is impossible. For an IIM, one needs to appear for the CAT, clear the necessary cutoffs, and perform well in the interview rounds (if shortlisted).

Hello,It is extremely tough as no reputed college/university admits candidates without making him/her undergo the GD-PI rounds. Along with these rounds, the interviewers assess the candidates on their overall profile and decide whether they are a right fit for their college or not. Nevertheless, cracking these interview rounds isn't rocket Science and anyone with suitable preparation can ace them.

The approximate cut off for MMS is 96 percentile for both the years.
However, the cut offs vary during the Cap rounds.
And for CAT, it is around 94 percentile.
