Hello Saskhi, always hope for the best. I will suggest you to prepare in that manner such that that your percentile does not drop down below 90 and like that you could get the best colleges through CAT.
Wish you all the best.

Sorry, but it will be difficult. As percentages play an important role. But, you can try for top 100 B-Schools and make a career in your dream branch.

Yes, job experience is required in most cases for IIMS. Your degree can be any though. But, being a B.Tech will be much beneficial in terms of prospects and growth.

There is nothing like CAT cut-off. The MBA institutes based on the score achieved in CAT allot admission based on merit. A score of around 90+ percentile is good enough to get into top 50 management institutes.

No, it's not necessary at all. If you haven't appeared in UPTU then you can get direct admission on the basis of your 12 marks but your marks should be atleast 60%.

Well, if you are positively confident that you can clear the CAT next year, then you need to prepare for that. Otherwise, go for IP University, which is also a good placement-providing university. If you are unsuccessful in CAT the next year, then it will be a wastage of one year and money.
So, do confirm how you are confident of clearing CAT next year.
All the best!
