For CAT 2020, you can join any reputed coaching center in your city and start practising daily. Focus more on CAT in your last year. You can join test series in the last few months before the exams. That will help a lot. And if there is no good coaching centre for CAT, join online coachings for CAT as there are already a lot of online platforms available. You can learn from lots of YouTube videos according to topics.
Best of luck.

I will suggest you go for both of those exams as CAT and MAT are the entrance exams preferred by most of the MBA colleges. If you perform well in at least one exam, there are very good chances of getting a good college. The syllabus for both the exams is not that different.

If you are getting any top-reputed college through UPSEE, then go for it as you already have a good rank.
Don't waste one year for CAT and MAT. That would be a risk if you do not score well.

Some private universities provide MBA without any CAT or MAT exam for the same. But, if you want a decent college as MBA from private universities do not provide you the best offers. For that, you need to give the CAT exam and get into a nice college.

Hi Aishwarya,
As you have not mentioned your category, I will assume it to be general and answer. You need to score 95+ percentile in CAT. Although, it is not fixed that you'll get admission in IIMS. It all depends on your CV/resume, how you perform in your interview. All the Best.
