CAT is national-level MBA entrance examination conducted by one of the IIM on a rotational basis. Admission to IIMs is two stage process. The first stage is based on CAT score. In today's world, all we want is a high placement from a college. So, prefer the best college for MBA. No matter from where you pursued your Bachelor degree, go for CAT preparation.
If you will be in 99-100 you may get call from IIM. So, go for it.
