It depends on individuals field of interest. Computer Science is a good option if you want are looking for career in engineering. Basics of computers like C/C+ will help you get knowledge of basics of programming. If you are looking for career in Medical field (MBBS/BDS/Nursing) go for Biology. Commerce is also a good option if you are looking for career in Banking, Chartered Accountant, Insurance, Financial Institution.

There is no consideration of experience for a call, if you clear the cutoff you will get a call.
Last year cut-off are CAT - 86 percentile, CMAT - 96 percentile and XAT - 78 percentile.
Chances are bleak but worth a shot.
