Hi, Fine arts are offered by CBSE as a subject option, however, individual schools decide on the options they wish to provide their students. Do let us know which city you are writing in from so we can check if the schools there offer fine arts as a study option in class XI and XII. Else your brother can opt for subjects as per his interests, choice and strengths in class XII since there are no subject restrictions for admission to the BFA course. Eligibility Criteria: BE /B.Tech in Engineering disciplines or a Master's Degree in any discipline from any recognized university or any Integrated First Degree of BITS. Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in qualifying degree.

You can get good jobs in various fields. NIOS is highly reputed and recognized board. You can go into following fields-
Business Management,
Fashion.
Journalism.
Law.
Counselling.
Teaching.
For business management, you can pursue MBA course. For fashion studies you should qualify NIFT exam. You may become Editor, Reporter, and Journalist etc. For going into law, you have to pursue LLB Course. Counseling is also an option for you. By pursuing Ph.D, you will become a teacher in Degree college.

The minimum Educational Qualification required to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Journalism is the successful completion of the 10+2 or equivalent level of education. Although some universities teach Journalism at the Undergraduate Level, the subject is vastly taught at the Postgraduate level in our country.
