The minimum duration of the Chartered Accountancy Course for a person joining after class XIIth (i.e. through CPT) is 4.5 years. The minimum duration of the Chartered Accountancy course for a person joining after graduation (i.e. through Direct Entry Scheme) is 3 years.

You will not a get seat through JEE Mains. You will have to approach a college personally to seek admission. Some colleges have management quota through which you can get admission.

Pursue a degree in any field you desire. You will be able to get admission in any course if you provide a solid and genuine reason for the academic gap. Some colleges might test you before giving admissions.

Christ College is a reputed college and has 3rd rank in India. There would always be a rush to get admission in Christ College. The cut-off is also too high and it is around 90% for general and 75% for SC/ST. The last year's cut-off for CBSE board students was 85% and for the state board, Kerala and Karnataka were 96% and 90% respectively.
