It is based on your interest. If you are interested in programing or computer language go for BCA or CSE. If you are interested in electronics and design, go for ECE. And, EEE is the evergreen branch and have more government job opportunities.

There are different scholarship for different universities. Some colleges have there own scholarship criteria which you can check with the college officials directly. Some of the scholarships are listed below:
1. KIET Group Of Institutions Merit Scholarship 2018-19

There are several ways of working in the merchant navy. The best way in my opinion is to get admitted in IMU or Indian Maritime University. They have several courses in Engineering and Science. It is a very good government college that provides opportunities in the naval field. There are also various other exams like AIMNET etc. But you should aim for IMUCET. It is the best option.

If you are going for a UG programme, yes, this score is enough. However, your 54 points in PTE can not be converted as 6 band in each module as you have mentioned. It may be equal, but universities will insist 60 in each. Nothing wrong in applying and trying for it.
