B.Tech biotechnology is a higher degree in comparison to B.Sc biotechnology. Therefore, B.Tech graduates have better career scope and opportunities in comparison to B.Sc graduates.

It depends on which stream you had in class 11th and 12th. A career in a similar stream will help you succeed better. Commerce and science are the two broad categories. In commerce, you can go for arts/ design, business, finance and banking.
In science, you have engineering and medical. These are the traditional streams students choose. Some new streams are also in demand nowadays like biotech, Nanotechnology, agriculture and genetic. Students are also moving in fashion designing and interior designing. Research oriented students can go for KVPY and get into institutes like IISC, IISERs. Commerce students can go for CA.

If you are interested in accounts, you can pursue CA along with B.Com. If you interested in management courses like marketing or HR, you can opt for BBA.
For private jobs, doing only B.Com/ BBA will not give you good job role and salary, you need to study MBA/ CA/ B.Ed.
