its very tough to get into DU. getting admiited into iit is easy but in DU its impossible. according to this year cutt off the minimum percentage required is 98.5-100 %. there are various quota by which u can get admission so visit DU site and see what are the options.

Yes you can get admission but in BA Prog or Pass, not in Eco Hons

Hard work and dedication is the only way. Find out your strengths and weakness subject wise and dedicate time to each segment accordingly. It is upto you how you plan your studies.
Reduce your social networking activities, use them for learning and gaining knowledge only at this stage.
Get good reference books, make notes of important pointers - making notes always help to remember. Practice a lot of writing too
After you are finished with your chapters don't forget to revise and refer to test papers. You will know where you need to improve here.
Read a lot and watch news to improve your communication and English reading/writ
