Choose a course you are interested in. Still if you want a course to help you with the preparation of IAS, you can choose BA in sociology, history, economics or law.

If you belong to SC-ST, then you'll surely get a NIT. If you belong to OBC, then also you have a good chance of getting into a NIT. But if you're a General, you wont get. And no one gets into IIT just by giving JEE Mains. To get into a IIT, you have to score well in JEE Advance.

For admission into XLRI , you need passing grades in all these standards you have mentioned. There is no minimum cutoff mentioned as such but a higher spectrum is generally favorable or required. I would say that more than 90% of students who have got admission into XLRI would have more than 55% in 10th and 12th
