Sound Engineering, otherwise called Audio engineering is a branch of science that deals with the application of equipments and paraphernalia for footing, mixing and replicating sounds. Those who have studied the various courses in audiography can become sound engineers.
These professionals in their daily affairs have to operate microphones, mixers, software programs so as to record sounds, speech and music. Sound engineers have wide scope in India and abroad. In addition, they are required to attend an entrance exam so as to get admissions in the bachelors' course. Graduates in sound engineering who have cleared the Postgraduate entrance exam can opt for the post graduation programs in sound engineering.

Scholars should have thorough knowledge in the qualifying exam syllabus so as to pass both the tests. Many technical books are available in bookshops that aspirants can purchase for reference. They can also work out previous question papers on a time basis to get much confidence in attending the mains. By self-evaluation, aspirants can identify their weaker areas.
