Candidates who are zealous in pursuing D.Ed have to fulfil the eligibility criteria in order to apply for admissions into various institutions offering this course. The eligibility criteria of D.Ed course is given below:
Candidates should pass in class 12 in any stream from a recognised board. Aspirants should have at least 50% marks in aggregate. It is to be noted that the eligibility criteria may slightly differ depending upon the institute the candidate has applied for admission. Admission is offered to D.Ed course via two modes- merit basis and on the basis of entrance test. Depending on the admission procedure of the institute, aspirants will have to appear and qualify the entrance test taken by the respective institution or they will be offered admission on the basis of the merit of the qualifying examination that is 10+2.
