Yes, you can get admission to SRM Madurai College for the B.E. / B.Tech course even if you haven't completed your 12th from the CBSE board, provided you meet the eligibility criteria. The institute typically accepts students who have completed their 12th from any recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. You may also need to appear for SRM's entrance exam or other recognised exams, depending on the admission process for that year.

With a 92.43 percentile in JEE Mains and 65% in the CBSE board exams, it is possible to get admission to a B.Tech programme at SASTRA University, especially considering you are from Tamil Nadu, as the university gives weightage to both JEE Mains scores and Class 12 marks, particularly for state quota candidates.

SASTRA University typically considers:

  1. JEE Mains score: The university generally accepts JEE Main scores for admission, and the minimum percentile required can vary each year based on the competition.
  2. Class 12 Marks: The university often requires a minimum of around 60% or higher in Class 12 for B.Tech admissions.

2.The new school must agree to admit you.

3.Obtain a transfer certificate from your current school.

Yes, it is possible to give the improvement examination of one subject in 2024 after the CBSE result is out. As per CBSE rules it allows students those who have passed the class 12th examination to take improvement exam for one or more subjects in the next year. But, you will need to complete the online application form and deposit the examination fee; these fees are around INR 1,200 for one subject and must be paid before the deadline. The improvement exam is scheduled in July-August, 2024 and result for the same will be declared by September, 2024.

With a 93.60% score in JEE Main and 88% in the CBSE exam, your chances of getting into the CSE branch at SASTRA University look promising. SASTRA University considers JEE Main scores for admission to its B.Tech programs, including CSE. However, the final selection depends on the university's cutoff ranks, which vary from year to year. Meeting the eligibility criteria and a good rank in JEE Main can increase your chances of getting selected for the CSE branch .
