Vikrant Institute of Technology and Management (VITM), Indore allows eligible students to apply for admission to its B.E./B.Tech courses, even if he/she has not been through its 12th grade in the CBSE board:
012. Educational Qualification:
must have completed their 12th grade (or equivalent) coursework with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects from a recognised board. This means that even if you have completed your 12th from a state board or another recognised board, such as ISC, NIOS, etc., you may still apply.

For Class 12th, it is considered to be strict. However, it is said that the checking done by evaluators is lenient in comparison to the checking done by them in Class 9, and class 11 in their schools.
