The number of CDS exam sample papers a candidate should solve depends on their level of preparation, time available, and level of confidence for the exam. However, a good rule of thumb is to solve at least 10 to 15 sample papers before the actual exam. The CDS General Awareness section comprises 120 question for 100 marks. The candidates need to solve all the questions as all question are compulsory. If the candidates leaves the question no marks will be awarded for it, however, if the candidates answer it wrong then the penalty of 1/3 marks will given against the wrong answer. The CDS General Awareness was moderate to difficult in terms of difficulty level for the CDS 1 2022 exam taken on April 16, 2023. The difficulty level of the CDS elementary Maths in the CDS 1 exam was moderately difficult. As per the opinion of the candidates taken the CDS 2 exam on April 16, 2023, the elementary Maths on the tougher side as compared to the CDS English and General Awareness. The CDS 1 2022 exam was conducted on April 16, 2023 to recruit the candidates in India Armed Force Training Academies like IMA (Indian Military Academy), AFA (Air Force Academy), INA (Indian Naval Academy) and OTA (Officer's Training Academy). The final answer key for the CDS exam is not the same as the CDS result. The final answer key is released by the UPSC after considering the objections raised by the candidates against the provisional answer key. The final answer key is used to calculate the marks obtained by the candidates in the written exam.
