No, a CDS officer typically wouldn't become a General because a CDS officer is a distinguished officer from any of the three services who has already reached a high rank before being appointed to the CDS position and the CDS position has a fixed tenure, typically two years.

You are not qualified to qualify for the CDS (Combined Defence Services) exam in 2021 based on your birthdate of July 25, 1997. For the majority of entries, the age limit for CDS is often between 19 and 24 years old. You may have been qualified because you would have turned 24 in 2021; but, eligibility is also dependent on other variables like educational background and other entry requirements. Make careful to verify the most recent eligibility requirements and dates for CDS tests in the future.

The Union Public Service Commission has released the CDS exam pattern for SSB written exam and interview. UPSC offers options to students who want to become officers in the Indian Defense Forces. Candidates who want to qualify for the CDS exam must complete the exam pattern and procedure of the CDS exam.

CDS exam pattern for INA, AFA and IMA is the same. CDS exam is conducted in two groups or tiers as a written exam and as a SSB interview. The CDS test is an offline test that requires pen and paper. It is a test of English language, Maths and General Awareness.

Candidates who wish to join the Indian Air Force's Flying Branch must normally meet certain educational requirements before taking the CDS (Combined Defence Services) or AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test). For both tests, a candidate must have at least 60% in their Bachelor's degree and have completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as obligatory courses. Because you have less than 50 marks in 12th Maths and Physics, you may not match the Indian Air Force's basic eligibility requirements. Check the official CDS and AFCAT websites for the most up-to-date eligibility requirements, or call their helplines for clarification.

Indeed, there is a physical exam as part of the selection process for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) exam. Many applicants are turned down following the physical exam because they weren't fit. To be enrolled in the Indian Armed Forces Academies, candidates must pass a written, mental, physical, and interview exam. It is recommended that candidates take the medical and physical examinations before completing the CDS application.
