Yes, you need to secure the minimum qualifying marks in every subject in order to qualify for the CDS exam. The qualifying marks are determined by the UPSC which conducts the CDS exam. For the written exam, the qualifying marks are different for each subject and are announced by the UPSC along with the cut-off for the CDS exam. The candidates who fail to secure the minimum qualifying marks in any subject will not be considered for the next stage of the selection process. If you have lost your CDS roll number, you can still check your CDS result by following the steps given below: a) Visit the official website of UPSC b) Click on examination tab c) Click on the active examination tab d) Click on CDS exam result link e) The result PDF will appear on the screen f) Check your name, date of birth and father's name in the PDF to heck your result If you still want your roll number then you should check your registered mail. The Board sends the roll number and the admit card on the mail.

The CDS exam results are released in PDF format by the UPSC on their official website. To check the CDS result the candidates have to follow the steps given below:
a) Go to the official website
b) Click on the CDS result in the What's New Section
c) Click on the CDS exam result PDF link
d) The CDS result PDF will appear on the screen
e) Download the CDS result and save it for later use. However, the answer key for the CDS exam is released by the UPSC after the recruitment for the Indian Armed Forces Academy though the candidates can check the unofficial answer key from different coaching institutes.

The Union Public Service Commission UPSC released the Combined Defence Services CDS result for the exam CDS 1 eon July 31, 2024. The CDS 1 exam was taken to recruit candidates into different Indian Armed Forces Academies that are Air Force Academy (AFA), Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA) and Officers Training Academy (OTA).
