The Central University of Kashmir offers more than 15 UG, PG, MPhil and PhD programmes under its nine schools. The university offers a variety of courses, including B.Teach, B.Sc + M.Sc, BA + L.L.B, B.Voc, MBA, M.Phil. + Ph.D., M.Sc, and M.Teach.
Additional, the university also provides PG Diploma programmes.

At Central University of Kashmir, a valid 12th-grade certificate with a final aggregate of 50% is the usual eligibility requirement for undergraduate courses.
However, various degrees may have different requirements, therefore applicants must carefully review the whole Central University of Kashmir eligibility requirements.

The campus Central University of Kashmir covers 503 acres in Kashmir's beautiful valley, is fully functional and has an effective infrastructure. The campus is also well-equipped with basic facilities, such as labs, smart classrooms, a seminar hall, an auditorium, a library, hostels, transportation and more.

The University has nine schools, namely School of Engineering & Technology, School of Education, School of Languages, School of Social Sciences and more. These departments are part of these different schools-

Department of Education,  Department of Physical Education,  Depth. of Teacher Education,  Department of Kashmir,  Department of English,  Department of Information Technology

The Central University of Kashmir has received 'B+' accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The University Grants Commission (UGC) has also approved the university.
It belongs to the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as well.

Yes, Central University of Kashmir is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It has also received accreditation with a “B+” grade from the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). It was established in 2009 in Srinagar.

There is a formula to calculate CGPA WHICH IS Total no. Of credits in all semesters/total no. Of semesters that's how CGPA is calculated in the Central University of Kashmir. If you need more help with CGPA and how credits work, you can always contact the faculty or your seniors.

If a student misses the internal exams in the Central University of Kashmir, he/she is not eligible for External exams. They will have to fill the back paper and wait till next semester to give the exam. Try not to miss or failing the exam as no exception would be made.

The food in the Hostel was always healthy, fresh and good. We also have a canteen in the university, which is small and the food items available are also fewer, but the food is really good. and affordable. In case you don't want to eat mess food you can always rely on canteen food.
