Admissions at CUTM Bhubaneswar Campus will both be through entrance-based admission and through merit basis with respect to the programme under which admission is sought. Most of the admissions for Undergraduates and postgraduate courses in B Tech and MBA follow entrance exams like CUEE, JEE Main or CAT while entrance-based admissions shall be accepted, and for all other courses shall be eligible based on merits of a candidate appearing from the qualifying examination. CUTM, Bhubaneswar Campus, accepts the scores of multiple entrance exams for its various programs on different modes of admission. As a few examples, the National level Entrance Exams include CUET PG, CAT, GMAT, JEE Main, and WBJEE among others to the MBA, MTech, and BTech programme respectively. Others are MAT, CMAT, and LSAT among others. It also hosts its own CUEE, primarily for undergraduate programmes, and as an alternative for some postgraduate courses.

Centurion University Vishakhapatnam is a private university and not a government university. The university is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and UGC (University Grants Commission) and accredited with A Grade by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council), Ministry of HRD. Being a private university, the fees for BTech ranges from INR 4 Lacs to INR 45.98 Lacs and the eligibility criteria is passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% aggregate and the accepted entrance exams are JEE Main, Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, CUEE, and others.
