For its Certificate course, IES MCRC provides online classes. The institute conducts live and interactive sessions. This helps students to learn remotely without having to appear at a particular centre. Moreover, the classes are only held on weekends. Students who are enrolled in the course are evaluated on the basis of examinations.

No, Maths is not compulsory for admission to the IES MCRC Certificate course. For admission to this course, students are required to just fulfil the basic eligibility criteria, which is that they must have obtained a bachelor's degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Those who fulfil this criteria can apply for the course.

Once the IES MCRC shortlisting process is completed for the Certificate course, selected candidates are required to present certain documents for verification purposes at the institute. Such candidates are required to bring along the documents mentioned below:
- Class 10 marksheet
- Class 12 marksheet
- UG marksheets
- UG degree
- Migration certificate
- School leaving certificate/transfer certificate
