Normally speaking entities which control online registration have known this problem and they usually make a window of correction available after completion of the registration process. Yes, regeneration of caste certificate needed if it is dated in 2017. Generally, it should not be older than 6 months. So apply for the same again.

There are two different lists of OBC's. One is a state list and other is central list. For admission in Maharashtra or say Delhi, the respective state government list of OBC will be accepted. However, when seats are filled on an all India basis like in NIT or IIT, only those who figure in central list will be considered. Best wishes.

It is better to complete your class 12th first, ,as the eligibility is 18+, so you can easily go for that even after completing your class 12th.
