Yes, you can change your caste caterogy during your form filling. According to information, candidates will be able to change their category from SC/ST/Girls/PwD to General/OBC NCL. An additional fee might be charged.

No, not at all, you can't get any fake certificate of B.Tech of any good University or any other University getting a fake certificate is a crime, so don't it try to get any fake certificate or any fake degree instead of that go and pursue it.

As NIOS is a valid and recognized board of education and is equivalent to other national and state education boards. If you have satisfied the eligibility criteria posted by MNCs, then the NIOS certificate will not affect your placements.
