2 C r + 3 F e 2 + n = 6 2 C r 3 + + 3 F e

? G 0 = - n E 0 F

170 * 10 3 = - 6 * E 0 * 96500

E c e l l 0 = 0.29 V

More the number of ions in solution, more will be the specific conductance

 Ionic conductivity of H+ is more than that of Na+

  E o C e l l = E o A g + / A g E o Z n + 2 / Z n = 0 . 8 + 0 . 7 6 = 1 . 5 6 V

Anode :  Z n ( s ) Z n 2 + ( a q ) + 2 e

Cathode :  2Ag+(aq) + 2e- -> 2Ag(s)

Zn(s) + 2Ag+(aq) -> Zn2+ (aq) + 2Ag(s)

  E c e l l = E o C e l l 0 . 0 5 9 1 n l o g [ Z n 2 + ] [ A g + ] 2 = 1 . 5 6 0 . 0 5 9 1 2 l o g ( 0 . 1 1 0 4 )

x = 147

H2 (g) + Cu2+ (aq)  2H+ (aq) + Cu (s)

  E c e l l = E c e l l 0 2 . 3 0 3 R T n f l o g Q

0.31 = 0.34 - 0 . 0 6 2 l o g [ H + ] C u 2 +

  [ C u 2 + ] = 1 0 7 ( ? [ H + ] = 1 0 3 )

x = 7

Using ; ksp = 108 S5

1.1 * 10-23 = 108 S5

S =  ( 1 1 0 1 0 8 * 1 0 2 5 ) 1 / 5 M 1 0 5 M

Specific conductance,

λ m 0 = κ 5 * 1 0 0 0 S m 2 m o l 1

= 3 * 10-3 Sm2 mol-1

So; x = 3
