No, you can't, the college would often demand subjects relevant to the course, and another condition would be that the subject should have a qualifying exam associated with it. But, there are exceptions. If you are sure about the above two then it would be fine. The acceptable subjects are often listed in the college website.

You need pass marks in all the subjects and you need to clear the TNEA exam, as the selection of the candidate is based on the clearance of the exam and availability of seats.

Yes, you have to give Entrance exam of to get admission for PG courses, all you have to do is score more then 50-55% in your UG course.
