The CSAB Special Counselling 2025 Round 3 has concluded with the announcement of the seat allotment results for NIT Patna admission to BE/BTech courses.
A few more updates are given below:
- The IIT JAM 2026 exam date for admission to the MSc course is Feb 15, 2026.
- The CAT 2025 result for admission to MBA/PGDM courses will tentatively be announced by the third or fourth week of Dec 2025.
- The NIMCET 2026 application form is anticipated to be available in April 2026 for admission to the MCA course.
- The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/MTech/PhD courses will be conducted on Feb 7, Feb 8, Feb 14, and Feb 15, 2026.

The National Institute of Technology Patna offers a four-year full-time BTech course, covering several specialisations. To apply for the NIT Patna BTech course, candidates must have valid JEE Main scores. Apart from the entrance test score, students also need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria set by the exam conducting body - NTA. For the upcoming admission session 2025, candidates are required to fill an online application form on the online admission portal of DASA. To apply for the DASA UG counselling process, candidates can follow the step mentioned below:
- The candidates eligible for DASA counselling have to register to be able to participate in the admission process. The DASA counselling registration process is given below:
- To register, the candidate needs to enter the JEE Main 2025 application number and Date of Birth. A web link will be mailed to complete the registration process on the email ID registered with JEE Main. The application number of JEE Mains will be your username.

NTA has announced the JEE Main 2026 exam date for session 2. JEE Main 2026 session 2 exam will be held from April 2 to 9, 2026. JEE Main 2026 session 2 registration will start in January last week. The JEE Main Application Form 2026 session 2 will be available on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE 2026 session 1 exam will be conducted from January 21 to 30.

NIT Patna provides modern amenities with state-of-the-art infrastructure to its students. The college provides various facilities which include a Computer Centre, IT Service Unit, Central Library, Medical Facilities, Sports Facilities, SAC, Laboratories, Banking, Security, Women's Cell, etc. Additionally, NIT Patna also provides hostel facilities both for boys and girls. There are a total of three boys’ hostels and two girls’ hostels. Some of them are as follows:
The Central library of the institute owns a vast stock of over 75,000 books. It has a stock of over 10,000 computer-related books and a section for every engineering branch and architecture.
Computer Centre: A state-of-the-art Computer Centre started its operation on 27th November 2011. It serves as the central computing facility for the students, research scholars, and teachers of the institute. The Centre is well equipped with modern Computers (190 in number), air-conditioned labs and stabilized uninterrupted power supply among the other facilities. The Centre has seven labs for all the students and one lab exclusively for PhD scholars of the institute.
Two permanent doctors are located within the institute premises. He can be consulted by the students and employees for any health-related problems on every working day free of cost. Residential facilities are provided to students in three boy's hostels and two girl's hostels. Presently, all the girls and many of the boys are accommodated in these hostels. The hostels are guarded round the clock by able private security staff. Patrolling is also done by state security personnel during the night. There are also separate wardens for every hostel.
