Hi Ashfaque, well, there are basically two ways to study in India either by self-financing or on scholarships provided. Indian embassy offers scholarships to a lot number of Nepalese students. The exam is quite easier if you are from Madesh or educationally underprivileged district classified by GoN. Some of the great colleges where you can study on self financing are VIT, MIT Manipal, MIT Pune, DTU, NITs, CFTIs etc. For DTU, NITs, CFTIs, you have to apply through DASA scheme. Yes, an M.Sc chemistry student can apply for NET exam if he/she follows the guidelines of exam. Candidates can apply for the CSIR NET Exam in the subject which is related to their post-graduation subject. As your subject is Chemistry then you can apply CSIR NET Chemical Sciences. Candidates should have minimum 55% aggregate marks in Masters if they are from General/ OBC Category or if they belong to SC/ST/PwD categories they should have scored minimum 50% aggregate. As you qualified for biochemistry exam and not chemistry exam, it's not possible for you to take admission in M.Sc chemistry in GNDU.

Hi Divya,
You can apply for M.Sc Chemistry in DU after completing B.Sc. Medical only if you have studied maths as a subject in your graduation or +2 as DU prefer candidates from Non-medical background.
