Dear Eshaan,
University wise, DU and IP but course wise engineering and B.Sc. Hence the suggestion is to go for biochemical engineering from IPU because it's value advantage is almost same as like DU. This engineering field gives you edge in this field. Good Luck. Upvote the answer if you feel satisfied.

KUK University is no longer an A Grade university it used to be. It has been downgraded to either B or C grade since last year. The system on which university works is horrible. You give your exam, then wait 45 months for your result. If you are unlucky and got a backlog, wait another 67 months to reappear. And then wait 5 more months for the result. So basically, it takes 1.5 years to clear the backlog. I will suggest you to search for the alternatives. If none of the options works, then you can surely join it.

Not so good. The openings for this field of job are very less. You need to get placed from the campus you studied at. It's difficult to find a job outside your campus.

Firstly, B.Sc. Chemistry is more related to pure Science where you focus mainly on the chemical properties, reactions and their outcomes. On a deeper level you can conceptualize the creation of new compounds being a chemist. While, B.Tech in Chemical Engineering is more of an applied Science where you debottleneck the process conceptualized by a chemist to fit to the real world scenario. You will work to construct and operate large scale equipment that scale up the laboratory scale concept for real life applications. You will more be into designing scaled up equipment for the laboratory process to become feasible in a way that they are

Hi Riya,
Congratulations for your marks.
One must have 60% in Chemistry to apply for this course.
So, you can't apply for this course in SXCKOL. Try some other college, you might get there.
All the best.
