UGC exam has few science streams. M.Sc in organic chemistry would come under the chemical Science stream. This exam would cover questions from different Science streams which come under chemical Science like organic and inorganic chemistry.
The exam is for 2 1/2 hours and has two papers. The first paper will contain general science questions. This will be common for all exam streams of NET. Paper 2 will have short answer questions and this is specific to each Science stream. This will be in descriptive form. Basic requirement to pursue B.Sc. Chemistry Honours from Loyola college is mentioned below:
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Candidate must have passed 10+2 with the following subjects:
1. Chemistry 2. Mathematics 3. Physics 4. Any other
