Yes go with the subject in which u have interest. Try to get a good college because a good college is the first key to success. After graduating with chemistry, apply reputed colleges fr msc. U can appear exam like iit-jam to pursue masters frm IITs. After masters, appear ugc-net to pursue phd and become a junior research fellow. After phd completion, u can appear national and different state level college service exams. All the best. Thank you.

Technically NCERT textbooks for 11&12 classes are the best preferences for a good student to crack IIT JEE if you can go deep into the concept in them.
They may not be giving you all the required information in the aspect of JEE advanced,
But they are the basic books for concept development.
