Some universities accept an MOI certificate instead of IELTS. Acceptance depends on the university and programme.

It depends on the programme. TU Braunschweig does not have one IELTS requirement for all courses.
- German-taught programmes: You generally need German-language proof, not IELTS.
- English-taught programmes: You need to meet the programme's English requirement.
- Example: The CSE Master's programme accepts IELTS 6.5 or higher.
- Other programmes: The required IELTS/TOEFL score can be different.

Yes, but direct admission is not guaranteed. Your Class 12 qualification must meet German university-entry rules. Depending on your qualification, you may need Studienkolleg or one year of Bachelor's study before applying. For Indian students, the current pathway requires 70% in Class 12 for the relevant routes from Winter 2026/27.

Yes, Indian students can get into TU Braunschweig if they meet the academic, language, and programme-specific requirements.
UG applicants need a recognised qualification. PG applicants generally need a relevant Bachelor's degree. APS and other documents may also be required.
