Those who opt for civil highest package is around 18 lakhs.Whereas for other jobs not related to civil engineering could have a higher pay.

Apologies for the delay in reply. Energy and Infrastructure is a niche program. Seeing the current country scenario and being related to energy sector, this sector is never going to be out of focus. Coming from a core engineering field, you will find yourself strong with the technical aspect of the program. Currently 75% of the batch is placed with companies like EY, Protiviti, Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, Gail etc

Aircraft maintenance engineering is not a degree or a diploma course, but a training programme. On completion of the training, a license is issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
-A three-year aircraft maintenance engineering license training course is being offered by several institutes approved by the DGCA.
-You require 10+2 exam with 50 per cent marks in aggregate in physics, chemistry and mathematics or a three-year diploma course in any branch of engineering or B.Sc. degree holders after 10+2 with maths, physics and chemistry are eligible for admission to AME training courses

As per sources, around 50% seats of M.Arch. are offered to B.Tech. Civil Engg Students in most of the institutes in India.

If you are from India you can get admitted to masters in architecture through gate. Both IITs and NITs take admission for interdisciplinary courses. You can also check out School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) Delhi.
