First you need to clear JEE Mains and then JEE Advanced. As this is the IIT Bombay admission procedure. After that:-
Eligibility criteria for JEE is as follows:
1) Students who are born on or after October 1, 1992 are eligible to apply. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) have been given a relaxation of 5 years.
2) Aspiring candidates should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2016 or 2017.
3) The candidates must have secured at least 75% marks or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th Class Examination conducted by respective boards. For SC/ST students, there shall be a relaxation of 5% in this criterion.
4) Aadhar card is mandatory for all the Indian citizens who are taking JEE.

Anybody who could manage a good enough CGPA (around 7 and above) had lot of opportunities of internships and placements from reputed companies and if you have managed to get a valid GATE score, you will get the scholarship. The tuition has been reduced from the time when I was in M.Tech. I think the selection criteria too has changed.
You will probably have to write another entrance test of Manipal to secure the M tech admission, but if you have cleared GATE it will not be a big hurdle. Yes, on a whole Manipal is good for M.Tech, Manipal has 24 postgraduate course including ME (Master of engineering). Placements are very good especially for IT sector, comparatively civil and mechanical has less placements. Other than that it's just the place you will not regret for choosing.
