Hello Dear, Recruitment for IAS and other all India Services is done through UPSC civil service examination. For UPSC you need to be a graduate from UGC recognised institutions.

UPSC examination doesnot ask for any NFC certificate. Do recheck.

Yes it is. But you have to prepare very hard in order to crack UPSC. Medical students do get less time for preparation of UPSC exams. But do use online study materials while doing your MBBS.

Hello Dear, Good to learn your interest for civil services. But I would like to tell you that LBSNAA is the training institute for those who qualify UPSC Civil Services Examination. Its not a college for post graduation. All the candidates qualifying UPSC examination undergo institutional training at LBSNAA.

Hello Nirmal,
Don't worry much. Many engineering aspirants get success in UPSC so you can too but you have to really work hard as all the thing are new for you i.e. syllabus, pattern method of study. So, by your hard work you can do it rather if any one before joined or not. Firstly, try to find your interest in subject then choose optional and start with the basic book NCERT. And after studying, try to go with some standard book of that particular subject. All the best.

You can go for arts stream, because arts can be easy subject compared to Science and commerce, so you can prepare yourself for IAS.

You can do graduation in the field of your choice. And yes after doing Masters also you can apply for UPSC exans. Also, check the eligibility criteria in detail given on government websites.
