Most importantly for a career in the above mentioned field there are no particular criteria to be followed. It all depends on your practical skills. Mass communication or Mass Media will help you improve communication skills, public speaking, etc.

You can take admission in state Board, or apply for private candidate, if you pass your class 12th from CBSE.

Minimum 50 /55% marks in 12th and a mandatory common entrance test exam for getting admission in mass communication is required.
