Rather than focusing on such thing, you should also appear for JEE Mains, which is going to be conducted in April, because if you don't give the exam in April, then there are chances of falling down your rank, as competition is going to increase much this time.

Hi, Fine arts are offered by CBSE as a subject option, however, individual schools decide on the options they wish to provide their students. Do let us know which city you are writing in from so we can check if the schools there offer fine arts as a study option in class XI and XII. Else your brother can opt for subjects as per his interests, choice and strengths in class XII since there are no subject restrictions for admission to the BFA course.
