The cutoff score for admission to NUSRL through CLAT varies every year depending on various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of applicants, the number of seats available, etc. However, based on the previous year's cutoff, you would need a score of at least 80-85 marks out of 150 to have a chance of getting admission to NUSRL as a general category candidate. Please note that the cutoff score is only an estimate, and meeting the cutoff score does not guarantee admission. The final admission will depend on the availability of seats, merit, and other admission criteria set by the university. It is always better

Yes, you are correct that CLAT and CLET are two different law entrance exams, and they are conducted on different dates and timings. CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) is a national-level entrance exam that is conducted once a year, usually in the month of May, for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law programs at various National Law Universities (NLUs) and other participating law colleges in India. The exam is conducted online, and the duration of the exam is two hours. The CLAT exam primarily tests the candidate's knowledge and understanding of various aspects of law, such as Legal Reasoning general awareness, and English

Many law colleges and universities accept CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) or LSAT (Law School Admission Test) scores for admission to their law programs. However, there are some colleges that conduct their own entrance exams for admission, while others may accept scores from other entrance exams such as AILET, MH CET Law, or state-level law entrance exams. It's always a good idea to check with the specific college or university you're interested in to find out their admission requirements and which entrance exams they accept.

Congratulations on your admission to IPU!
It is a good option as it is a reputed university for law studies. While NLU's have their own advantages, IPU also has a good reputation for law courses and can provide you with a solid foundation in the field. Additionally, the location in Delhi can provide you with good exposure to the legal field as well as internship and job opportunities. So, you can make the most of your time there by focusing on your studies, building your skills and network, and gaining practical experience through internships and other opportunities.

Yes you have. The admission process for each National Law University (NLU) is independent of other NLUs, and the cutoff rank for admission to NLUs may vary each year. As per the previous year's trends, it may be difficult to get admission to NLU Sonepat with an AIR of 27431 and SC rank of 1375. However, you may still have a chance to get admission in other NLUs or private law colleges. You can explore the admission process of other NLUs and private law colleges and apply accordingly.

If you have been allotted a seat in an NLUs LL. M. programme in the third and final list of CLAT you will be required to confirm your admission by paying the admission fee and accepting the seat. After confirming your admission, you will not be eligible to apply for vacant seats in other NLUs. However, if you decline the allotted seat before the deadline, you may be eligible for the vacancy round and participate in the spot counseling process. You can check the CLAT website and the individual NLU websites for more information on the admission process and vacancy rounds.
