They can also represent ministries in government through their panel in the courts as a standing counsel and represent the company in capacities such as in-house counsel or an advisory and perform all that functions of a lawyer. LPU offers more than 250 programmes where Law is one among them. The School of Law is governed and regulated by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and its curriculum is also provided by BCI and in order to make students top-to-date and the latest trends in the field of law, the School of Law takes initiatives to modify the curriculum as and when need arises. Students have undergone internships at various High Courts, law firms, law chambers, commissions, corporate houses and NGOs. The Alumni's are working as Judicial officers, Legal practitioners and Corporate advisors and Civil servants. In addition to this, MOOT court sessions are also provided to experience the scenario of courts. Some of the companies which have made or shown interest in recruitment from our campus are: MAP Legal Corporation, Manupatra & Co, Integrity Associates, LEGASIS, Thomson Reuters have recruited the students and many more. The eligibility criteria for this programme is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (any stream) with English or equivalent.
