There is nothing like best books for CLAT. There are good books which help in preparation. First I would recommend you the books which are widely used for this exam and then I will give my strategy/preparation tips. A) English - Word Power Made Easy (Vocabulary), Any RC booklet, Grammar rules can be done through videos available online/coaching classes (there are books like Wren and Martin also), idioms and phrases can be done from the numerous sources available on the internet. B) Mathematics - Quicker Maths by M. Tyra, Quantitative aptitude by RS Aggarwal
c) Legal Aptitude - Universals guide to CLAT and LL.B. Pearson CLAT Guide by Gar

The eligibility criteria of CLAT-2019 is 10+2 with 45% of aggregate marks and 40% for reserved categories. Candidates those are appearing in April/May -2019 can also apply. There is no upper age limit for CLAT-2019. Hence, if you are meeting the above eligibility criteria than can apply.

Hi Snow,
You seem to have mistaken about the dates. both the exams are not happening on the same date. AIIMS will be conducted on May 25th and CLAT will be conducted on May 12th. Please check your exam dates properly and make a note of it.
