The LLB degree requires you to have already completed an undergraduate degree of at least three years. As the LLB degree is itself three years long, this would require students to spend six years to get a law degree. The BA LLB/BBA LLB/B.Sc LLB degree offered by most law schools take five years to complete, so students who opt for it save on a year of studying which, believe me, is a big thing. However, I suspect there is an additional reason the NLUs do not offer the 3-year BA degree.

You can appear for exams like BLAT which is for BHU. It is also one of the best colleges in India. And also there is KIIT (Kalinga) which is free of cost, so nothing will go from your hand.
Just give it a try.

In CLAT, there are two types of courses. First one is 5-year BA LLB also known as UG in law. This is generally done after you pass out class 12th and the second one is 1-2 year based LLM also known as Post Graduate (PG) in law. This we do to get the master degree in law after when we are done with graduation (BA LLB or LLB). Also, there is a 3rd type, of course, this is just LLB, it is a 3-year course. This course we do when we have at least a graduation degree with us. BA LLB and LLB have almost the same value. Only the difference is that BA LLB is done after class 12th and the other one, LLB is done after the graduation.

Well, there is enough time to score good marks in next year's CLAT exam, so I would suggest you that buy three individual books- Verbal and Non Verbal reasoning by RS Agarwal, Quantitative Aptitude by RS Agarwal and Universal Guide book which is considered to be the best for legal section. So follow up the syllabus and give 1-2 hours daily and complete it twice or thrice as much as you can. You will get the best NLU, if you follow this. Also, give as much as mock you can, because it is very necessary to tackle the time to solve 200 questions.

You must give the first preference to NLUJS and have to score 140 marks or above to secure a seat in this college. Work hard and achieve this college.
