I don't think SAP HANA will affect cloud. Infact, SAP uses "SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud". SAP uses cloud to deploy, maintain, integrate, and extend SAP in-memory applications in a private cloud environment – for a faster, easier transition to real-time business.

Cloud computing is not totally secure. If data is truly critical, there must be multiple copies in multiple locations. There are many ways hackers can compromise data centers and end users whether they are local or in the cloud.
